Idiot On The Road Series - 27 June 2014

This video serve to educate the general public especially Malaysian drivers on how we are not suppose to drive a car. It may appear a simple thing that happen taking things for granted, but could lead to accidents or causing inconvenience other road users. The White car is on the left, up ahead is a "T" junction and he made a right turn on the left turn lane. This could cause the driver on the right to not aware of the intention or could cause the driver to apply brakes and rear-ended by another. Thanks for watching.

Sony ICD AX412F Coin Test

This is a Sony ICD-AX412F Solid State Stereo Recorder. This recorder has 2GB of in build memory and able to  accept external micro sd of 32 mb. It has a build in FM radio and uses 2 AAA battery that will last ages. The down side of this recorder is it do not have a back light for the screen, making it difficult to see the menu to enable the FM radio. As a recorder it is superb in audio quality and I uses this for interviews and video audio capture.

Got myself this C1 Mic and checking its audio quality by recording the simple coin test. Nice low cost mic for home recording, Behringer has made it affordable for everyone to make their home recording studio

ACT20 HD Bullet Cam Revisited

This cam was bought few years back and it was not really put to use. Initially was purchased for making bike video and ended not use much since I already have a better action cam. Not wanting it to go to waste, I wired it up as a car evidence recorder. It's a nicely designed camera with slick body as bullet shaped ideal for action camera. But its video recording quality is not as good, night time recording is even worst. The newer camera from same manufacturer has improve. This particular camera has 60 degrees field of view and compared to current design which has 120 degrees. I leave the camera permanently in the car, if needed I will hooked up the mobile Android phone with OTG cable to download or make changes to its configuration files. You can also use most android phones that has the OTG capability to playback this camera files, you need to install VLC Player in order to play the avi files stored in the camera.
