Bukit Ramlee's Pineapple

After installing the GPS decide to take a spin to nearby area to check how well this mount will hold. There's a place high up in Meru, Selangor about 30 km from where I stay and looks like a good place to try out the mount.

Its situated in one of the back road between Shah Alam and Meru, a heaven for dirt bike and mountain bike.

GPS Coordinate : 101°26'25.68"E 3°11'26.75"N. Not really suitable for a scooter but, during dry season its okay, a slow and steady ride to the top won't do any harm.

I'm plotting the GPS route to this place since its not on GPS map, will submit to Malfree for their update.

Its a kampung road Jalan Awin, Shah Alam and that's the peak as photo below.

The road is rough and only 4x4, Dirt bike is king in these surrounding.

Manage to the top and its refreshing with strong wind blowing. There are few kampung's kids around enjoying the scenery and as they said "lepas tension".

That's the land mark and will see whether I manage to capture its coordinate on my GPS.

View on top is spectacular with surrounding area can be seen for miles away.

According to the kids, they could see KL from this peak. Those three chimney belong to a  power station located some 30 km away in Klang.

Pineapple, that's the reason why I am here the first place. This pineapple is the hill variety and its must be sweet.

Not many, 3 for RM10.00 and its freshly picked from the hill just few minutes ago.


That's it got my pineapple and I'm ready to go.
